Longwood Back to School Event 2023

The Longwood Police Department is hosting our 4th Annual back-to-school event. We will be giving away 600 backpacks filled with school supplies as well as a gift card for new shoes from Shoe Carnival.

A TICKET TO RECEIVE THE FREE BACKPACKS WILL BE REQUIRED.

Tickets can be picked up by families in need from the front lobby at the Longwood Police Department located at 235 West Church Avenue, Longwood, Florida as follows:

** UPDATE - beginning Monday, July 17, 2023, the tickets are open to any Seminole County student/family in need**

Monday 7/17/23 - 8:30 am to 7:00 pm
Tuesday 7/18/23 - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Wednesday 7/19/23 - 8:30 am to 7:00 pm
Thursday 7/20/23 - 8:30 am to 7:00 pm
Friday 7/21/23 - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Monday 7/24/23 - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Tuesday 7/25/23 - 8:30 am to 7:00 pm
Wednesday 7/26/23 - 8:30 am to 7:00 pm
Thursday 7/27/23 - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Friday 7/28/23 - 8:30 am to 5:00 pm

*Tickets are first come first served while supplies last*

On the day of the event (Sunday, 7/30/23) LPD officers will be grilling hotdogs and hamburgers, chips, drinks, popcorn, and sweet treats will be provided at no cost!

Activities on the day of the event will include music from an onsite DJ, cornhole boards, bounce houses, and a fun kid's zone.

Additionally, bicycles and Chromebook laptop computers will be raffled periodically throughout the event.
