ACE Human Resources has created an employee handbook workshop that focuses on small businesses between 5-50 employees. The workshop will cover legal compliance, best practices, handbook organization, disciplinary action training for managers and sample employment policies, plus “The 7 Most Unknown or Underrated Workplace Policies”.
The same workshop will be offered on two dates, at two different times and in different locations. The first workshop will be held on Tuesday, October 22nd at ECPI University in Lake Mary from 1:00-3:30pm, with catered lunch included. The second workshop will be offered on Thursday, November 14th from 8:00-10:30am at Rasmussen College in Altamonte Springs, with a catered breakfast included.
Smaller companies overlook having an employee handbook filled with formal written policies and procedures. Many feel comfortable with their current operations and productivity levels. Others feel rolling out a handbook will negatively influence their “small business family culture”.
