Second Harvest Food Bank Of Central Florida Hosts In-Person “Food For Thought” Tour June 15

WHAT:    Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida is inviting the community into the warehouse for a behind-the-scenes look at its facilities, with a new evening time option. 

On Wednesday, June 15, “Food for Thought” tour participants will get an inside look at the food bank’s active warehouse and distribution center, seeing first-hand how Second Harvest distributes enough food for a quarter of a million meals a day. Attendees will also learn about the different programs the nonprofit maintains to help feed those experiencing food insecurity across Orange, Osceola, Lake, Seminole, Volusia and Brevard counties. Anyone interested in the June 15 tour must register by Wednesday, June 8.

A snack box will be offered to tour participants.
