CCI Group’s Indy Vega Featured at SBA Women’s History Month Event

Virtual event to take place March 22 and is open to the public
Orlando, Fla. (March 5, 2022) – Indy Vega’s story to date is quite impressive. After leaving Colombia at 22 years old, she found her path to success providing translations to court systems and 911 operations.
Today, she’s the CEO of CCI Group, an Orlando-based firm that provides translation and interpretation services throughout Florida and Georgia.
That story – along with the success of her company – resulted in the U.S. Small Business Administration’s North Florida office to be one of just five speakers featured during their Women’s History Month event on March 22.
“It’s such an honor to be included in this panel discussion and I hope we can inspire other women to truly go after their dreams of owning a business,” Vega says. “I’m certainly going to be inspired by the other women and their stories.”
The event is called From Struggle to Rise: Women-Owned Businesses that THRIVED During COVID and, in addition to Vega, the event features:

  • Natalie Madeira Cofield, Assistant Administrator, SBA’s Office of Women’s Business Ownership
  • Jackie Perrault, Director, Jacksonville Women’s Business Center
  • Mary Jane Culhane, Founder/Partner Culhane Irish Pub
  • Cantrece Jones, CEO, Acuity Design Group (ADG)
The SBA describes the event as “meet some of the local businesswomen who triumphed over the economic impact of this historic pandemic and learn about the resources they leveraged to make it happen!”
The event is open to the public and more information can be found here.
