Help Show Our Kids “You Are Not Alone” during This Time Of COVID-19

Like all of us, teens and young adults in foster care are experiencing isolation and uncertainty during this time of stay-at-home orders and social separation. But unlike many of us, they do not have the same support network of family, neighbors and colleagues available to borrow an extra roll of toilet paper or to connect with through daily zoom meetings or virtual game nights.

Click video below to hear how Morgan Donovan, our youth navigator who works closely with this young adult population, describes what many of our older kids are experiencing:

We're building care packages!
Times are difficult for many, but if you are able and willing to help, please consider a donation to help us supply COVID-19 Care Packages to each of the 115 older teens and young adults that rely on Embrace Families to help them through these unpredictable and isolated days.

You can contribute in two ways:
-          Your monetary donation will purchase grocery gift cards or help procure the supplies they need. Click here to contribute.

-          You can also help with individual care package items. Things like snacks, puzzles, cleaning supplies, even toilet paper (when it’s available!) Click here to help fill our care packages.

Time and again the Central Florida community shows our kids that they matter and that we have their backs. Thank you for being a champion for children.
