Social distancing rules apply with appointment-only services
Lake Mary, Fla (April 29, 2020) – The wait is over for tax collector services in Seminole County.
Starting Monday, Seminole County Tax Collector Joel Greenberg will be reopening five of six branch offices, with the Sanford location reopening with the county administration building.
“It is extremely important to get back to normal as soon as possible,” Greenberg says. “While we are being measured in reopening, we can’t wait to serve our residents in person next week.”
The branch locations will be open by appointment only, during normal business hours Monday through Friday. Appointments will be through SeminoleCounty.tax starting on Friday.
The only services not being offered immediately will be road tests and concealed weapons permits because of the close contact required by those services. Social distancing rules, such as those found in grocery stores, will be administered.
Greenberg plans to offer those services in a couple of weeks.
“Luckily, Seminole County has been fortunate to have personal services available through our Winter Springs drive thru, but now all of the county can take care of the services they need,” Greenberg says. “Our team has performed incredibly during these past few weeks and we’re ready to serve in person again.”
