Seminole State College Of Florida Hosts “Bring A Future Raider Day”

SANFORD, Fla. (Feb. 20, 2023) – While Seminole/Orange/Volusia County Public Schools are closed on President’s Day,  Seminole State College and the Leadership Academy hosted “Bring a Future Raider Day” on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus for faculty and staff family members.  
Seminole State welcomed 100 future Raiders (2nd – 11th grade students) as they visited various departments on campus, engaged in learning activities, and made meaningful connections to the College. 
Interactive programs included STEM and art tracks, a science walk, tours of the Emil Buehler Perpetual Trust Planetarium and Barbara Miller CFADA Automotive Training Center, plus a visit with therapy dogs and campus yard games.
