SUMMARY:Angel Snugs Event
DESCRIPTION:We use these events as a learn-to-knit/knitting gathering for our "Angel Snugs" program...as well as a gathering of friends to get together and hang out for a good cause. Our items are donated to children with cancer undergoing their treatments. \n\nSo\, here's the skinny...for those of you that want to learn how to knit/crochet items and plan on buying your own materials\, you'll need a pair of size 11 needles-short or long is your preference and whatever yarn you want. (The smaller the number size the smaller the stitch\, but size 11 is what I was taught with-both short and long and I don't have a preference...all the same to me.) \n\nFor those of you that would like to learn how to knit/crochet and make items for "Angel Snugs"\, I'll provide the yarn and the needles-BUT YOU HAVE TO LET ME KNOW\, so I have enough needles. \n\nOur events are held every third Sunday of the month. If you just want to donate yarn or tools to make snugs\, please contact angi@angelsnugs.org to make arrangements for pick-up. LOCATION:Heritage at Lake Forest donates their Activity Center for our program to meet. They are located on the west side of I-4 on SR 46\, on the south side of the road.
