The stakeholders include the St. Johns River Water Management District\, the Southwest Florida Water Management District and the South Florida Water Management District\, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection\, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services\, water utility departments\, environmental groups and citizens. The CFWI Regional Water Supply Plan was recently completed and approved in November 2015 by the governing boards of the three water management districts.  It identifies programs and projects to ensure that adequate and sustainable water supplies are available to meet future water supply needs while protecting the environment and water resources.
