He has been conducting clinically focused research on gambling disorder for over 15 years and has over 45 peer review publications in academic journals. \n\n\n\nHis work has been funded by the National Institutes of Health and the National Center for Responsible Gaming. \n\n\n\nWithin gambling disorder\, his research focuses on the assessment and treatment of the disorder\, including the use of motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy. He also has a line of research that examines the utility of exercise as a treatment and relapse prevention strategy for other addictions.
