DESCRIPTION:Heathrow Women's Club Presents Funds to Charities\n\nAt a luncheon meeting on May 14 at 11 a.m. at the Heathrow Country Club\, the Heathrow Women's Club will present funds to local charities:  The Boys   Seminole County Friends of Abused Children\; SafeHouse of Seminole Daycare/After School Program\, and Bags of Hope\, Inc. –  of Central Florida.  Over the past 25 years\, the Club has donated nearly $1 Million in donations and services to better our community by giving to deserving organizations. The presentation of checks to these charities is the highlight of the year for the Club and is made possible by the Club's volunteerism and fundraising events held during the year. Also\, this final meeting of the year is a farewell to outgoing Board Members and the installation of new Board Members. Open to all. LOCATION:From the East on 1-4\, take exit 98 Lake Mary Blvd. Proceed on Lake Mary Blvd West (right) to the first Light International Parkway (turn right). Take International Parkway down approximately 1 mile\, and the second left will be Bridgewater Drive – there is a stone wall noting “Heathrow Country Club.” Proceed to the Clubhouse on the right.
