The 5k Run/Walk and Health & Fitness Expo will be held along the beautiful waterfront Riverwalk and Fort Mellon Park in Sanford. The goal of the event is to encourage residents\, employees and visitors of Seminole County to become more physically active and focus on personal wellness. This event encourages the entire family\, so bring the kids\, grandparents and baby stollers . . .you just have to finish the race at your own pace!!\n\nAll race finishers will receive a commemorative finisher's medal\, t-shirt\, back pack and opportunity to participate in the Health & Fitness Expo\, year-long health challenges\, free health screenings and receive educational materials to stay healthy and make Seminole County the healthiest county in Florida!\n\nAwards and recognition will be given in the following categories in Seminole County: Employer with the most employees participating in the race\, School with the most students and staff participating in the race\, Faith-based Community with the most members participating in the race\, Neighborhood Community with the most residents participating in the race and Social\, Recreation or Fraternal Group with the most members participating in the race.\n\n\n\nVolunteers and sponsors are always welcomed!!!!
