Born and raised in raised in South Florida\, her experience with Hurricane Andrew sparked her desire to become a meteorologist and continues to be the driving force behind her goal to inform\, educate and empower her viewers on all aspects of weather. A graduate of Florida International University\, she earned her bachelor's degree in meteorology and graduated magna cum laude. Candace has earned her NWA seal and is a member of the American Meteorological Society\, and the National Weather Association.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLongwood Council Lunch & Learn\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin the Longwood Council for a monthly Lunch & Learn meeting on the 3rd Monday of every month.
