DESCRIPTION:Habitat homeowner Doris Mullins Kipp will embrace a big milestone this month.  She will make the final payment on her mortgage\, paying it off in full and burning a copy of her mortgage statement in celebration.   Doris set a goal to get her mortgage paid off early and despite ongoing challenges\, was able to do so in less than 10 years.  Using a budget learned at financial workshops\, she refrained from splurging on unnecessary items\, shopped for furniture at Habitat's ReStore and worked extra jobs\; putting all of the extra money toward her mortgage principle.
