DESCRIPTION:"Strides for Education" 5K Walk/Run is open to individuals\, families\, companies\, schools and local organizations. Registration is $25 per person\, with all proceeds benefiting Take Stock in Children\, a non-profit organization with a 17-year history of helping Florida's low-income and at-risk youth. It is the only scholarship and mentoring program with the mission of breaking the cycle of poverty through education\, and has attained a high school graduation rate of 92% in Florida.\n\nWe believe that knowledge is power\, and education is the best investment there is.
