DESCRIPTION:The Art & Phyllis Grindle Celebration of Life will be held in the Seminole State College Fine Arts Concert Hall at 2 p.m. on Friday\, July 20.  The service\, which will feature students from the Art & Phyllis Grindle Honors Institute and a eulogy by Dr. E. Ann McGee\, is open to the community.\n\nArt Grindle\, a former Florida legislator and businessman who was a longtime benefactor of Seminole State\,  passed away on June 10. Art's wife Phyllis passed away in 2004. \n\nThe Grindle family has established an endowed memorial scholarship for Honors students. In lieu of flowers\, the family asks that donations be made to the scholarship in care of the Foundation for Seminole State College.  Checks should be made payable to the ''Foundation for Seminole State College''.
