DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendars for The Foundation for Seminole State College's 30th annual Dream Gala\, being held Saturday\, Feb. 15\, 2014 at the Orlando Marriott Lake Mary. The Dream Gala is the Foundation's biggest fundraiser and has to-date raised more than $2.8 million for the College and its students. All proceeds from the event benefit Seminole State student scholarships\, faculty programs and the College's areas of greatest need. The 2014 black-tie gala\, themed ''30 Rocks\,'' will feature a formal dinner\, entertainment\, live and silent auctions and a raffle. The auction items will include luxury vacations\, fine-dining packages and more. Also up for grabs is a 2014 Ford Escape\, donated by the Central Florida Auto Dealers Association\, Inc. Raffle tickets for the car will cost $50 for one or $200 for five. To purchase tickets\, visit dream-gala.com. The Dream Gala will begin at 5:30 p.m. with registration and a reception. Dinner and entertainment will follow at 7 p.m. With $270\,000 raised at the 2013 Dream Gala\, the Foundation hopes to continue its success at the 30th annual Dream Gala in 2014.
