Location: Tampa, Orlando, or Ft. Meyers
Compensation Range: $60k + Bonuses
Position Summary:
Seeking a passionate, motivated attorney with 3-5 years experience in pre-suit and litigation in the personal injury field. Bilingual (English + Spanish) is a plus. The candidate will work from one office (Tampa, Orlando, or Ft. Meyers) but may work remotely for one of the other 2 offices.
Core Responsibilities:

Trial Preparation: Assist senior attorneys in all aspects of trial preparation, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, and preparing witnesses for trial.

Courtroom Representation: Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials. Present arguments effectively, cross-examine witnesses, and handle objections professionally.

Case Management: Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution. Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, analyze medical records, and develop strategies for optimal case outcomes.

Legal Research and Writing: Conduct comprehensive legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, motions, and other legal documents.

Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, keeping them informed about the progress of their cases, explaining legal options, and providing sound legal advice.

Negotiation and Settlement: Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel, insurance companies, and other relevant parties to obtain favorable outcomes for clients.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with partners, senior attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and successful case management.
Physical Requirements: The position involves working in an office environment. Candidates must be able to complete essential functions of the job in this environment, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Work Environment: Air-conditioned, office environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to the Florida Bar and in good standing.

3-5 years of experience practicing personal injury law, with a focus on trial work.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with A genuine passion for helping injured clients seeking justice.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.

Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Demonstrated courtroom experience, including trial work.
