Central Florida Zoo to become COVID-19 vaccination site Saturday, May 8

WHEN:  9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 8
WHAT: The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens will serve as a COVID-19 vaccine distribution site courtesy of Seminole County and the Florida Department of Health from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, May 8 onsite at the Wayne M. Densch Discovery Center.
To encourage people to pre-register for the vaccine, eligible individuals receiving the vaccine onsite will receive one free Zoo general admission ticket voucher. Pre-registration is required in order to guarantee a ticket voucher, but walk-in vaccine clients will be accepted. Admission to the Zoo is not required to receive the vaccine. Ticket vouchers can be used through June 2022 during normal business hours.
