Congratulations to the Cast and Crew of Disney Cruise Line on the latest milestone in the launch of the fifth and newest ship in their growing fleet...the official christening ceremony of the Disney Wish!
The historic occasion was recognized in Port Canaveral, Fla. with a truly unforgettable celebration filled with spectacular musical performances; special guests; favorite friends from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar; and three incredible Disney Wish godchildren.
Culminating with the ceremonial breaking of a champagne bottle against the ship’s hull and a symphony of pyrotechnics, special effects, music and a rousing fanfare, the moment marked a historic day for Disney Cruise Line Cast Members, Crew Members and Walt Disney Imagineers who have been hard at work to bring the Disney Wish to life before her maiden voyage on July 14.
