Goodwill To Host Summer Kick-Off Donation Drive On June 3

On Saturday, June 3Goodwill Industries of Central Florida (GICF) will host a summer donation drive to help area residents declutter their homes of clothing and other textiles, shoes, and small appliances like toasters or coffee makers. The start of summer is the perfect time to sort through closets, drawers and garages for items that are no longer being used.

GICF has 31 retail/outlet stores and 16 Donation Xpress Centers across Orange, Osceola, Lake, Seminole, Volusia and Brevard counties that the community can stop by on June 3.

Donations allow Goodwill to offer low-cost goods to the community while also providing resources and jobs to Central Floridians. Revenue generated through sales of gently used items fund the organization’s employment placement and job skills training services, as well as its vocational rehabilitation program.
