Heathrow Women's Club Charities Donates to Four Local Charities

With the current need of everyone in our community, HWCC is happy to share that we are making a donation to our four chosen charities:  The Boys & Girls Club of Central Florida, West Sanford Branch; SafeHouse of Seminole; Seminole County Friends of Abused of Children; and The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools.  During these trying times, our charities need us more than ever

The Heathrow Women's Club, HWC, was founded on August 17, 1987 by a few neighborhood women who gathered as friends.  More than a quarter of a century later, this small group has developed into a socially active assembly and a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization of over 150 members.  Social activities such as Book Clubs, Bridge, Bunco, Canasta, and Mah Jongg are just a sample of what is available, see the list here, or view the calendar.

Evening activities for singles and couples include Wine-Tastings, Happy Hour Socials, Dine-a-Rounds and more.  General Luncheon meetings with programs are held at the Heathrow Country Club on the second Tuesday of each month September through May.  The Club is open to all women in Central Florida!

Neither residency in Heathrow nor Country Club membership is required to join the Heathrow Women's Club

For more than a quarter century, HWC has demonstrated a remarkable ability to bond together to raise more than one million dollars in donations and services for deserving organizations in Seminole County. Not only do the members share a strong camaraderie, but they truly make a difference in the lives of those in need.
