Seminole Science Charter School Student Takes First Place In Nasa Art Contest

Seminole Science Charter School (SSCS) first grade student Ivaan Kaushik took the first-place spot in NASA's 2023 Commercial Crew Program Children’s Artwork Calendar contest in the 4- to 6-year-old range.

His artwork titled “Rockets and Spacecraft” is inspired by recently launched Crew 5 and is showcased under the October month’s page. With over 2,000 participants, NASA designed this contest to excite youth about STEM and inspire future scientists, engineers and explorers.

SSCS is devoted to enriching the lives of students with the integration of STEM curriculum, providing a diverse student population a well-rounded educational experience.
