For Immediate Release | September 15, 2020 (Orlando, FL) – On Saturday, October 24, 2020, members of the community, business leaders and supporters will gather at viewing locations across the country for an exciting broadcast event to celebrate the Healthcare Heroes of Shepherd’s Hope that will provide the support necessary for maintaining resilience during COVID-19. Ticket prices begin at $75 and are available at www.ShepherdsHope.org/Mask-R-Aid.

“Shepherd’s Hope provides life-saving primary and specialty care services to the uninsured and under-insured in our community at no charge,” said Abby Rice, Vice President of Operations. “This year, our volunteer team of doctors, nurses, and other medical professions faced many obstacles in providing ongoing care for our community’s most vulnerable citizens. We look forward to honoring their dedication to delivering free, high-quality healthcare at Mask-R-Aid.”

During this variety show style event, we encourage small gatherings with friends, family, and colleagues to enjoy a shared experience of philanthropy and fellowship. Throughout the evening, Shepherd’s Hope will honor their 2020 healthcare heroes, provide a variety of entertainment with interactive elements, and feature a silent and live auction.

“Community support of our ongoing operations has been incredible throughout the many challenges we have overcome this year,” said Pam Gould, CEO and President. “Mask-R-Aid will help us raise funds to provide services at our five health centers. It is critical for us to expand our service hours and operations to meet the needs of the escalating number of uninsured people due to the COVID-19 economic hardship – a number growing daily as more people become unemployed or under-employed. Shepherd’s Hope is their resource for medical services, allowing our neighbors to not have to choose between daily necessities and their ongoing healthcare.”

Mask-R-Aid is supported through the generous sponsorships of AdventHealth, Orlando Health, Universal Orlando Foundation, ABC Fine Wine & Spirits, Central Florida Lifestyle Magazine, Clear Channel Outdoor and Orange Appeal.
