SSCS Student's Artwork Is On Display At The Asian American And Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration

Seminole Science Charter School (SSCS) second grade student Anika Gajera has been selected to be showcased at the eleventh annual Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration in Orlando.

This event is put on by the Orange County Asian Committee and the Orange County Board of County Commissioners. Anika’s artwork is inspired by the annual Kite Flying Festival in India which symbolizes the arrival of spring. She will attend an award ceremony on Friday, May 19 where the winners of the art contest will be announced.

SSCS is devoted to enriching the lives of students with the integration of STEM curriculum, providing a diverse student population a well-rounded educational experience.
