The Goddard School Set to Open in Sanford (Lake Mary Heathrow), FL

Priya Abraham Brings the Nation’s Leading Play-based Childcare Facility to the Lake Mary Heathrow Community

SANFORD, FLGoddard Systems, Inc., franchisor of The Goddard School, announced the newest play-based learning center in Sanford (Lake Mary Heathrow), FL, is anticipated to open this winter.

This is the first Goddard School to open in Sanford (Lake Mary Heathrow) and is among more than 500 locations in 37 states that are serving more than 65,000 children. This School will join 15 other locations in Florida, three of which are in the Orlando area.

The Goddard School®, a recognized leader in early childhood development and care, serving children from six weeks to six years, uses the most current, academically endorsed methods to ensure children have fun while learning the skills they need for long-term success in school and in life. Its play-based educational philosophy, F.L.EX., or Fun, Learning Experience, is accredited nationally by AdvancED and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

Priya Abraham, onsite owner of The Goddard School in Sanford (Lake Mary Heathrow), has firsthand experience with how The Goddard School’s curriculum and environment positively impacts children.

“We saw how our daughters bloomed at The Goddard School under the care of nurturing teachers, who encouraged and challenged them to learn life skills and become well rounded individuals who love learning,” Priya said.

After moving to the Lake Mary/ Heathrow area, she was unable to find the same level of high-quality early childhood education for her son and noticed other families also struggled to find the best care for their children. This led her to give up her corporate career in finance at a Fortune 50 company and open The Goddard School.

She wants to provide an opportunity for children in her community to experience the same high-quality educational environment where they can develop into joyful, confident learners, prepared for success in school and in life.

“Our community needs a quality preschool, which focuses on nurturing our children and developing life-long learners,” said Priya. “My goal is to be the preschool of choice in our community for both parents and teachers.”

The newly constructed, state-of-the-art early childhood education center will serve 160 children and features a large indoor gym, two separate playgrounds for toddlers and preschoolers, as well as an outdoor learning center that focuses on STEAM learning.

The newest Goddard School in the Orlando area, conveniently located at 155 S. Henderson Lane, will be open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
