Young Life Seminole County Launches New Club

The Hagerty High School Community now has a team of 6 Young Life staff and volunteer leaders serving students and developing our newest Young Life Club.  This Club is perfect for UCF student volunteer leaders with its proximity to the UCF campus.
In addition to starting a new Club, Young Life is also excited to announce the hiring of a new Associate Area Director, Andy Ward.  He will be leading the team in the Hagerty Area and overseeing our other ministry teams in Oviedo.  Andy comes to us after serving on Young Life staff in Melbourne.  He is an alumni of Oviedo High School and Florida State University.
This new Club gives Young Life seven Clubs in the area including Lake Mary High School, Winter Springs High School, Oviedo High School, Markham Woods Middle School, Jackson Heights Middle School, and our Capernaum Club in Oviedo which serves our special needs students.
Young Life is a non-profit organization that reaches out to nearly 1.5 million middle school, high school and college students in Seminole County, in communities across the United States, around the world. We provide role models, safe activities and a sense of significance to students. Young Life was founded in 1941 by a young pastor with a passion for the students in his community who had no interest in Christianity.  Our mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus and help them grow in their faith.
