Join Franklin's Friends for the 13th Annual HOWL-O-WEEN Dog Walk-a-Thon & Canine Costume Contest on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to noon at Cranes Roost Park, Uptown Altamonte.
This family- and dog-friendly event features a short dog walk, canine costume contest, adoptable dogs, pet-friendly vendors, raffles, food trucks, music, and more!
Registration is $20 per person in advance and $25 at the event. Children ages 5 and under are free.
Prizes will be awarded for top fundraisers and best canine costumes.
All proceeds benefit Franklin's Friends, an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving animal welfare in Central Florida by awarding grants to nonprofit and government agencies supporting Shelter & Rescue, Spay/Neuter, Community Education, and Pet Retention programs.
