Description

The inaugural Karing Hands Wildlife Classic is a benefit golf tournament hosted at beautiful Alaqua Country Club in Longwood, benefiting Karing Hands Wildlife Refuge — a Central Florida 501(c)(3) native-wildlife rescue and rehabilitation nonprofit (EIN 39-4845769).

Every dollar raised funds the year-round care of injured and orphaned wildlife across Seminole County — squirrels, opossums, cottontail rabbits, and armadillos and more— including formula, medical supplies, and enclosures for animals brought in by Central Florida residents.

The day features a morning start, an 80-player field, breakfast, on-course lunch, contest holes (hole-in-one, longest drive men's and women's, closest to the pin, putting contest), and a silent auction. Foursome play is $750, individual entry $200, and sponsorship packages range from $250 hole sponsors through the $7,000 presenting tier. In-kind and silent-auction donations welcome. Registration and sponsorship deadline: October 1, 2026.
