Blessings Central Florida Classic

The Blessings in a Backpack Central Florida Classic will feature two days of golf and the Jenene Caramielo “Celebrating Celine” Concert at Heathrow Club, in Lake Mary, Florida. Proceeds will provide weekend food for school-aged kids in Central Florida.
 

The five golf events include: 1) Team Scramble and 2) Joan L. Kidd MD Fight for Life Putting Challenge on April 16 and 3) The Duke of Edinburgh Cup Qualifier, 4) Joan L. Kidd MD Fight for Life Cup for DOE Cup Playoff, and 5) 2027 Ryder Cup Closest to the Pin Shootout on April 17. 

PRACTICE ROUND: For DOE Cup Golfers

Shotgun Start 9:00 a.m. 9 holes, $50. Players must be off the course by 11:30 a.m. Call the Heathrow Club Golf Shop at 407-333-1469 to book and pay.

JOAN L. KIDD MD FIGHT FOR LIFE PUTTING CHALLENGE: Win a 5-night Barbados Beachfront Villa Trip for 4 people!

Step onto the practice green and take your putt at paradise! The Putting Challenge is open to registrants, sponsors, guests, and Club members, giving everyone a chance to compete, connect, and have fun while helping feed kids on the weekends—no golf experience required.

 

VIP RECEPTION: 6:00-7:30 p.m. (For golfers, sponsors, and special guests – food from 6-7 p.m. and cash bar)

Net Stableford scoring, individual competition for golfers with a USGA handicap index. Top two finishers receive an invitation for an expense-paid trip to England to play in the World Finals on the grounds of Windsor Castle in Fall of 2026.

2:30 p.m. – Playoff: Joan L. Kidd MD Fight for Life Cup (For 3rd - 12th place finishers, over 5 holes, with a SeaDream Yacht Mediterranean voyage for two as the prize) and 2027 Ryder Cup* Closest to the Pin Shootout (For 9 remaining Playoff golfers)
