Sonny's Smokin' Showdown

Sonny’s BBQ is hosting its inaugural Smokin’ Showdown Invitational at the Central Florida Zoo. In addition to the competition, Sonny’s Smokin’ Showdown will host local vendors, family-fun activities and musical performances by top country artists Chris Janson, Craig Campbell and Logan Mize. The event is free for the public. The invitation-only competition will bring together the nation’s top Pitmasters in one arena for an epic BBQ battle. Sonny’s is expecting 78 teams, with more than 300 competitors. Teams will be judged on five different meat categories: chicken, ribs, pork, brisket and a mystery meat, which will be announced at the event.
