Business Alliance Council Lunch & Learn

Join the Business Alliance Council for a monthly Lunch & Learn meeting on the 4th Friday of every month for important information for your business and the Oviedo community. This is another Seminole County Chamber benefit for you to network and connect with area businesses. Amber Velasco is the Franchisee Owner of The Good Pour Longwood and a leadership, talent development, and operations professional with more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Development, Project Management, and Employer Branding. Throughout her career, she has specialized in building high-performing teams, developing leaders, designing scalable training programs, and creating operational strategies that improve both the employee and guest experience.
Prior to becoming a business owner, Amber held leadership roles with Yum! Brands, supporting more than 220 Taco Bell locations and 1,500 employees, where she led leadership development, learning strategy, onboarding, conference planning, and organizational training initiatives. She also spent 15 years with Darden Restaurants in Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Strategy & Insights, Marketing, and Project Management, partnering with executive leadership on brand strategy, organizational development, recruitment, and large-scale business initiatives.

Today, Amber combines her corporate leadership background with entrepreneurship, using innovative events, strategic partnerships, and authentic community engagement to grow The Good Pour. She has developed and executed everything from intimate educational tastings and wine dinners to large-scale consumer events, supplier activations, nonprofit fundraisers, and corporate experiences. Her philosophy is simple: the best events don't just fill seats. they create memorable experiences, build meaningful relationships, and turn first-time guests into lifelong advocates.
