“Saturday Meal Delivery - We Need Volunteers.”
Join us for a special Saturday Meal Delivery to honor Rubie Pettway, who recently retired after 16 years as the Home-Delivered Meals Program Coordinator.Come out and share Rubie’s passion for the Home-Delivered Meals Program. Whether you are already volunteering or looking to start, this opportunity will give you a small glimpse of what our volunteers experience on a daily basis when they deliver meals to the clients. You not only put a smile on their face, but you will feel a smile on your face as well.

Meal Delivery Experience:
- Register on-line to participate – space is limited, so register early
- Check-in at our office location between 9 am and 10 am
- Meals on Wheels staff will review the program and expectations for delivering meals
- Volunteers will be provided a local route with 2-5 clients (2 meals per client)
- Volunteers must provide their own transportation
- Bring a cooler for the meals
- Volunteers will delivery all meals on the route.
- A follow-up survey will be sent to you asking for feedback about your experience.
