Hilda Cockram is the owner/operator of an award-winning educational child care center. Along with her husband Ted, they opened Kiddie Academy of Longwood-Lake Mary in 2012 and Kiddie Academy of Sanford-Heathrow in 2019.
Prior to becoming a small business owner, she held various leadership positions for financial services companies in the New York-metro area. She has an extensive track record of implementing complex initiatives in cross-functional business settings. Her background includes 20+ years of professional experience with Fortune 50 companies in business operations, financial planning/oversight, project management and staff development. 
Hilda was born and raised New Jersey, earned her B.A. from Penn State University and her M.B.A from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.  She moved to Central Florida in 2009.

As a Certified Bookkeeper with the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and an Intuit ProAdvisor, I can certainly help you understand the basics of accounting and also teach you how to use either QuickBooks Desktop or QuickBooks Online. I will come to you and prepare your records onsite or do it remotely and give you open access to your records. I have been in business since 2006, and have multiple years of accounting experience.

I help individuals and families protect their health, their wealth, and their future, by means of Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Medicare, and Long-Term Care Insurance. I love to learn and to teach, so my job as an Insurance Agent is perfectly suited to me.  The Insurance industry is ever-changing, so I am constantly learning.  Every year, there are new products, regulations, strategies, and a never-ending need for continuing education. I'm also learning about my clients’ goals and challenges, their priorities and their responsibilities. I love all the learning, but my favorite part of the job is the teaching.  I love sitting with clients and teaching them about the products and solutions that can truly help them reach their goals. 

Our mission is to partner with local businesses, groups, and non-profit organizations, to stimulate our local economy and address pressing issues within our community.

 Ladies 327, Inc was established September 2015 to support, foster, and promote friendships in Sanford and the surrounding communities.  We encourage our members to get out, meet their neighbors, make new friends and support local businesses and non-profits.  Due to the overwhelming generosity of the Ladies 327, the club became a 501(c)(3) non-profit in December 2016.  The Ladies 327 , Inc. 501(c)(3) has continued to foster the original mission to support local small businesses, the community, and local non-profit organizations one event at a time.  

As an adopted parent of a remarkable young man on the autism spectrum and a Retired Licensed Clinical Social Worker; I founded Special Needs Ability Program, Inc. in 2010 to help families who have loved ones with developmental disabilities.
