Sunset at the Zoo takes place on the fourth Friday of every month from May to September.
This beloved summer tradition offers guests of all ages the chance to experience the Zoo after hours, with extra time to explore, enjoy themed cultural celebrations, and make unforgettable memories.
“We are excited to partner with Orlando Health for this year’s Sunset at the Zoo for another incredible summer series,” said CEO Richard E. Glover. “This event has become a summer favorite, offering guests a fun and unique way to experience the Zoo with a mix of culture, community and conservation.”
Each month, Sunset at the Zoo will spotlight a different culture, featuring live entertainment, food trucks, local community nonprofits, and interactive activities that celebrate the diverse communities of Central Florida.

- July: Fri, Jul. 25 – Sunset at the Zoo, celebrating Black & African American Heritage
- August: Fri., Aug. 22 – Sunset at the Zoo, celebration g Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage
- September: Fri., Sep. 26 – Sunset at the Zoo, celebrating Hispanic Heritage

TD Bank will be sponsoring the entertainment at this year’s Sunset events.
During Sunset at the Zoo, doors reopen at 5 p.m. and offers up fun until the sun goes down. Last admission for each event is 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $6 per person when purchased online and $8 per person at the gate. The event is separate from day admission and is not included for Annual Passholders. Families can also purchase a $44 Family 4-Pack, which includes 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs and 4 sodas, online only.
