🍳 Chef Shanna’s Weekly Cooking Tip: How to Cook Moist, Juicy Meat

Want perfect, juicy meat every time? Here’s how:

• Start with room temperature meat. Let it sit out for 15–20 minutes before cooking for even heat distribution.
• Season generously. Salt and season well before cooking to build a flavorful crust.
• Use the right heat. Sear at high heat first, then lower the temperature to cook through gently.
• Don’t overcrowd the pan. Give your meat space so it sears, not steams.
• The final and most important step: Let your meat rest before slicing. Resting 5–10 minutes allows the juices to redistribute and keeps every bite tender and flavorful!
