Goodwill Industries of Central Florida Hosts Food Drive to Feed Local Kids

This summer, Goodwill Industries of Central Florida, WFTV and Hearts, Hands and Hope, Inc. are calling on Central Floridians to clean out their closets and pantries to support families facing food insecurity.

As the summer break starts, parents who are cleaning out their kids’ closets and drawers for clothes and shoes they’ve outgrown also have an opportunity to make space in their kitchen cabinets and pantry. Seminole County Goodwill retail stores are accepting canned goods for Hearts, Hands and Hope, another local nonprofit dedicated to feeding Seminole County students. Neighbors can help by dropping off gently used clothes and canned goods to the Goodwill stores in Fern Park, Longwood, Downtown Sanford, West Sanford and Oviedo locations Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Sundays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. until June 16.
