Seminole County Chamber Recognized Nationally for EV Charger Leadership

For the past couple of years, the Seminole County Chamber has been at the forefront of working to try and improve the EV charger network in Florida.

After all, Florida has the second-highest number of electric vehicles on the road of any state in the nation.

And, as businesses and governments look for ways to offer charging services, the chamber offers free EV chargers to qualified members with our partner Optimus Energy Solutions.

That's why when the Florida Division of Consumer Affairs came to Altamonte Springs in July to start developing a statewide permitting structure for chargers, our president & CEO, Rebekah Arthur provided testimony at the public hearing.

Her message was simple. Don't put unnecessary regulations and hurdles in front of businesses who want to offer something for their guests.

The leadership in this area was amplified nationally by Chambers for Innovation & Clean Energy who helped develop our EV Charger program.

Take a look at their Chambers In Action story about us here.
