Seminole County Public Schools Remains A-rated District for 2023-2024

(Sanford, FL) Seminole County Public Schools (SCPS) is pleased to announce that it has once again earned an “A”-rating as a district for the 2023-2024 school year as reported in the July 24, 2024, Florida Department of Education School Grades release. In addition, SCPS is ranked #1 when compared to Central Florida Districts, second when compared to the 14 largest districts in Florida, and 12th out of all Florida’s 67 Districts.

SCPS continues to be an academically high-performing district and we are very proud of our student’s achievements. We also recognize that school grades are just one component of determining school achievement. High-performing schools and districts need the collaborative commitment and work of students, educators, families, and community members to realize the potential of each student. Combining that work with a pledge to continuously improve and
innovate is the foundation of SCPS’ commitment to all of our stakeholders.

“I am so proud of our district being A-rated once again. This accomplishment is a testament to the unwavering dedication, hard work, and commitment of our incredible teachers, students, and staff. I also want to thank our families, community members, and business partners who surround our schools with support and champion excellence for every student,” stated Serita D. Beamon, Superintendent for Seminole County Public Schools.
