Seminole County Tax Collector Announces Change in Public Operating Hours

The Seminole County Tax Collector’s Office will adjust its public operating hours beginning May 5, 2025, changing from 8:30 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M. This change is being implemented in preparation for a statewide rollout of the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles’ new operating system which will impact Motor Vehicle services.

“This 30-minute adjustment applies only to our customer-facing hours,” said Tax Collector J.R. Kroll. “The additional time in the morning will allow our employees to receive hands-on training with the new ORION software, so we can continue delivering the excellent service Seminole County residents expect.”

Customers are encouraged to schedule appointments by visiting SeminoleCounty.Tax. Additional service cut-off times will not be affected by this change.
