Speaker Series: Seminole State Construction, Design Alumni Success Stories

Embracing its new strategy, “Your Learning Partner for Career Success,” Seminole State College of Florida will welcome four talented alumni from its construction and interior design programs to the Speaker Series to share how the College provided the foundation and continued support for success in their chosen careers.

This inspiring panel discussion will begin at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at Seminole State’s Heathrow Campus. The alumni panelists include:

  • Kali Fuller, Universal Creative Assistant Facility Design Manager
  • Dominic Gundacker, PCL Construction Operations Lead, Special Projects
  • Jorge Martinez, Dimit Architects Senior Interior Architect and Designer
  • Tim Smith, Wharton-Smith, Inc. President/CEO

The presentation, sponsored by TRANE®, is part of Seminole State’s recognition of Careers in Construction Month, which aims to raise awareness and celebrate the myriad career opportunities in construction.

As a preview of what attendees can expect, Gundacker, a 2014 Seminole State graduate who remains active with his alma mater as a member of the Foundation for Seminole State College Board of Directors, shares how he started his journey at PCL while working toward his Bachelor of Science in Construction at the College. He began his career as a field engineer and has advanced to operations lead for the Special Projects group. This is just one of the success stories guests will hear that may inspire their own career journey in partnership with Seminole State.

Speaker Series events are free and open to the public. Seating is first come, first served. To request accessibility accommodations, please email Disability Support Services.
