Virginia Miller Helping Others in Need Ministries Receives $195,000 CDBG Economic Development Grant to Establish New Childcare Facility

Virginia Miller Helping Others in Need Ministries, Inc. is proud to announce the award of a $195,000 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Economic Development Grant to establish a new childcare facility in Sanford’s Historic Goldsboro area. This significant funding will provide high-quality childcare and daycare services to support low and moderate-income families within the community.

The grant, provided by the City of Sanford, has enabled Virginia Miller Helping Others in Need Ministries, Inc. to construct a state-of-the-art childcare center located at 700 Historic Goldsboro Blvd. The facility is equipped with essential resources including upgraded infrastructure, computers, and playground equipment, creating a supportive and nurturing environment for young children and their families.
