Wekiva Island Debuts Spooky Themed Halloween Cabana

Something wicked is coming to Wekiva Island this spooky season. The Seminole County attraction is making it easy to get into the spirit with a brand-new pop-up Halloween cabana—Cypress Cove Coven.

This special rental will take over the Canoe Cabana from Oct. 1-31, transforming it into an eerie riverside haven for witches, folklore and old Florida ghost stories.

The space, situated under ancient cypress trees, is 12x24, comfortably seating up to 25 guests. Decked out with floating candles, spell books, cauldrons, potion bottle and more, it will transport visitors to the legend of the Swamp Spell Society. Three couches will be draped in black linens with raven and moth throw pillows. Nearby trees will be illuminated with orange and violet lights, hanging snakes and glowing lanterns.

As with all of Wekiva Island’s rentable cabanas, the space comes with a gas grill and summer kitchen to prepare any kind of feast, with drinks and food options at the Tooting Otter Bar and Without a Paddle Café also just steps away.

The space is available for daytime and evening rentals. Larger groups can add on the neighboring VIP Cabana to accommodate up to 50 guests, meaning renters can throw the ultimate Halloween party or a fun themed birthday or corporate event.
