What a year! I don't know about you, but this year has been a whirlwind. A lot of it has been good. Some scary and stressful. Some just weird. But here we are, wrapping it up, and I think a lot of us have a mix of emotions. We're tired. We're a little worried about the future. Hopefully there's some excitement and ambition in there, too, both for our businesses and associations, ourselves and our lives. That's the message I'm getting right now. I talked to a colleague the other day who admitted they hadn't sold anything in two months. Others say they have no money for anything—not even investing in something that will absolutely help grow their business and alleviate their money worries. This really troubles me.
