Workplace Learning
Start Building Tomorrow’s Workforce... Today!
Workplace Learning
Graduates of Seminole County Public Schools will be your future neighbors, co-workers and fellow citizens. Our current students need opportunities to deepen their classroom learning by applying their skills, passions and interests to authentic workplace experiences. Students benefit from early exposure to the world of work, and employers enjoy the energy and enthusiasm that students, interns, and teachers bring to their business.
INTERNSHIPS FOR HIGH SCHOOL CREDIT
Offer a high school student a 136 hour in-depth work experience in the spring, summer or fall.
JOB SHADOWING
Provide an introductory understanding of business and industry to 9th and 10th grade students through job shadowing.
TEACHER EXPERIENCE
Invite a highly qualified educator to add value to your business while refreshing and deepening skills used in the classroom.
CLASSROOM CAREER EXPERIENCE
Sponsor a project-based challenge for students interested in your industry or provide employees to serve as career mentors to students.
