Karing Hands Wildlife Refuge

Karen Roe is the founder and director of Karing Hands Wildlife Refuge, a Central Florida 501(c)(3) rescuing and rehabilitating native wildlife — squirrels, opossums, cottontail rabbits, and armadillos — drawing on 15+ years of hands-on rehabilitation experience under permitted rehabilitators.

Karen is also the owner of Countertop & Cabinet Concierge, a Central Florida full-service design and remodeling partner for homeowners, designers, builders, and contractors. She guides clients through space planning, cabinetry, countertops, material selection, and installation, with hands-on partnership from first concept through final walk-through.

With 26+ years in the kitchen and bath industry, Karen is President Emerita of the NKBA Central Florida Chapter, serves on the Natural Stone Institute's Women in Stone committee, and holds CEU-certified speaker and Certified Stone Inspector credentials. Her design business helps sustain her wildlife mission.
