Bank Of America’s Yolanda Mcleod Terry Joins Second Harvest’s Board Of Directors

ORLANDO, Fla. (June 9, 2023) – Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida recently welcomed Yolanda McLeod Terry to its Board of Directors.

As SVP, Private Client Advisor for Bank of America Private Bank in Winter Park, McLeod Terry works with a diverse group of ultra-high net worth clients who are focused on fiduciary investment management and philanthropy; next-generation wealth education; trust and estate planning services; and credit and lending solutions. McLeod Terry advocates for many causes impacting our community, such as women's rights – especially through financial empowerment – as well as diversity and inclusion issues.

She is board chair of WOW Legacy Group Inc., and active in Bank of America’s Black Executive Leadership Council, Central Florida Black Professionals and LEAD for Women. She says joining Second Harvest's board allows her to pursue a new type of advocacy.

"Women are at the heart of what I do," she said. "Second Harvest and its network of partners distribute enough food for 300,000 meals a day, and many of those reaching out for assistance are mothers. I'm driven to make sure fewer women are having to make difficult decisions about how to afford feeding their families."

McLeod Terry earned a bachelor's degree in finance and an M.B.A. from the University of Central Florida.
