City of Longwood Upcoming Events

The City of Longwood would like to announce a variety of fun-filled events this quarter. Bring your friends and family to experience these annual, and some new, Longwood traditions. Visit longwoodfl.org to see a full lineup of all the city’s upcoming festivities. (*Events are subject to change.)
 

  • Watch a free movie with us at Reiter Park, 311 W Warren Ave. this Friday, January 19, February 16, and March 8. Bring your family and friends, and don’t forget to pack a blanket, chair, and/or snacks. The movies begin at 7 pm and January’s feature will be Minions: The Rise of Gru.
 
  • Join us in beautiful Historic Downtown Longwood on Saturday, February 3 from 10 am to 3 pm for the 37th Annual Mustang & Ford Roundup, one of Florida’s most premier Mustang & Ford events. More than 250 entries are expected with up to 200 awards being presented. Open to all Mustangs & Ford Powered vehicles. Enjoy food trucks, vendors, music, games and much more. Free to spectators! $30 Registration Fee.
 
  • Join us for our Annual Chili Cook-Off at the Longwood Historic District on Saturday, February 10 from 4 pm to 6:30 pm. In conjunction with the monthly Longwood Car Show, the "Chili Cook-Off" is a fundraiser that supports Parks & Recreation programming in the City of Longwood. All cooks compete for cash prizes and trophies. Chili Cookers WANTED, email rrinaldo@longwoodfl.org. Ticketed event.
 
  • With roughly 80 beers to sample, the SMaSH Beer Festival at Reiter Park, 311 W Warren Ave, will take place Saturday, February 17 from 1 pm to 5 pm and will have something to please everyone. This is a ticketed event. For more information visit www.flsmash.com
 
  • Join us for a family-friendly weekend packed with unique entertainment, great food, and lots of fun. Come out to Longwood’s Pirate Days Festival at Reiter Park, 311 W Warren Ave., on Saturday, February 24 from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday, February 25 from 10 am to 5 pm for some pirate fun. Hang out with a mermaid or two, visit our large pirate encampment, meet our pirates, and enjoy lots of fun entertainment and food. Free to attend!
 
  • The Bunny Breakfast is an event you don’t want to miss on Saturday, March 30 at 9:00 at the Longwood Community Building, 200 W Warren Ave. Enjoy 2 sausage patties, all the pancakes you can eat, and your choice of beverage while you visit with the Easter Bunny. Be sure to bring your camera with you! Seating takes place every 30 minutes. The cost is $9 per adult, $7 per child (3-10) and kids 2 and younger are FREE! Tickets go on sale Monday, March 4, 2024, and can be purchased at www.magicegghunt.com.
 
  • Are you ready for an egg hunt extravaganza? Join us at the Magic 107.7 Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30 from 9:30 am pm to 12 pm featuring more than 18,000 eggs, 9 age-divided hunts, 10+ booths with fun and games, and pictures with the Easter Bunny at Downtown Longwood Historic District.  Free.
