Embrace Families Hosts Caregiver Appreciation Event at Orlando Science Center

Embrace Families recently wrapped up Foster Family Appreciation Month with a special event in their honor.  The gathering brought together more than 200 caregivers and the kids they care for at the Orlando Science Center.
 
On Saturday, June 10, Embrace Families, the lead nonprofit agency overseeing child welfare in Orange, Osceola and Seminole counties, used this opportunity to thank foster parents for their compassion and commitment to Central Florida’s most vulnerable children. In addition to an interactive breakfast, families were able to take home a variety of needed items, ranging from backpacks and books to diapers and other personal care products. The Orlando Science Center donated the space and free day passes for the families to explore the exhibits at their own pace.
