#GiveMe5 to Help Rescue Outreach Mission

Almost daily, we interact with people who are impacted by homelessness. Sometimes, it is obvious. They ask for help at an intersection or are sitting outside a convenience store.

Many times, you may not even know you are interacting with someone sleeping in their car or on a family member's couch.

Throughout Seminole County and the entire region, more and more people are losing the security of having a place to live. Housing is essential for survival and when you can't pay the rent or mortgage, or a crisis takes away your income, you are afraid and lonely, scared for the future and your family.

In Seminole County, the only option for shelter for those experiencing homelessness is Rescue Outreach Mission. Right now, the demand is so great, we have a waiting list for services, even with more than 100 individuals, including dozens of families, currently finding hope through our doors.

Monday kicks off Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week and we need you to help share our mission.

Will you participate in our #GiveMe5 campaign? Here's how you can help.

1. Make sure you follow our Facebook and Instagram pages.
2. Share our posts during the week.
3. Write a comment on a #GiveMe5 post.
4. Make a personal post about why you support Rescue Outreach Mission and include our hashtag.
5. Make a donation of $5, $50 or $500.
